Chess PGN Downloads
Hi, and welcome to our Chess PGN downloads page. Below you can find download links of all the PGN files of the games analyzed and featured on this blog.
Do I need a chess program?
Yes, the games are compressed as a chessbase database - you are going to need chessbase or something similar (like Fritz) in order to open a compressed database.
But I don't have Chessbase, what can I do?
I would suggest downloading ChessBase Light 2009 which is free. There is no other way of converting .cbv files into .pgn.
Alternatively, if you really want an analysis of a specific game in .pgn, you can contact me via email or facebook or quora or anything. Contact information is given on our home page.
Do I have to pay anything?
The download is absolutely free. Zero charge.
What is your motivation behind it?
Look, I love chess, I love analyzing chess games and I like promoting our ancient game. I analyze chess games basically the whole time, so I thought, perhaps someone else might find my work useful as well. What's the worst that can happen?
So, you are not doing it for money?
I am pretty realistic and I don't expect to make a fortune out of this blog. Don't get me wrong, of course it would be handy to have a few extra bucks, but I have decided I will never make it a must for any visitor of the blog.
Or at least not in the near future.
