Chess Birthdays

The chess world was (and still is) full of fascinating personalities.

More than a year ago, we started a tradition of remembering them on their birthday. And writing short and „humorous“ posts on our social media 1 about strong players, their trainers and other persons from the chess world who perhaps didn’t become „famous“, but contributed to our game.

Since the number of this „social media birthday card“ grew big, we thought it might make some sense to include them all on this blog, as well.

On this page, you will find a list of chess birthdays in chronological order. We will keep updating it as time passes by.

A click on any given name should lead to you to a separate post dedicated to a specific player.

Hope you will find it enjoyable.
